Welcome to the 6th EMN Meeting on Computation and Theory!

Nov 2-6, 2020 in St. Julian’s Malta

To continue its success of last events: the 1st EMN Meeting on Computation and Theory (Istanbul, Turkey, Nov. 9-11 2015), the 2nd EMN Meeting on Computation and Theory (Las Vegas, USA, Oct. 10-14 2016) and the 3rd EMN Meeting on Computation and Theory (Dubai, Nov. 6-10 2017), the 4th EMN Meeting on Computation and Theory (San Sebastian, Spain, Sept 3-7, 2018 ) , the 5th EMN Meeting on Computation and Theory (Mauritius, Nov 26-30, 2019 ) The 6th Theory meeting will continue to be focus on these workshops and aims to be a unique platform for leading scientists, researchers, scholars and engineers from academia, R&D laboratories and industry around the world to exchange, share and learn the most recent advancement on various aspects related to Computation and Theory.

Malta is a Southern European island country consisting of an archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea. It lies south of the island of Sicily, Italy. Malta is a popular tourist destination with its warm climate, numerous recreational areas, and architectural and historical monuments, including three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Hypogeum of Ħal-Saflieni, Valletta, and seven megalithic temples which are some of the oldest free-standing structures in the world. Malta is a member of the Schengen Agreement and the official languages are Maltese and English.

The meeting will be a few days of intense collaboration with great social occasions. It will be not only be a time to enjoy the company of fellow researchers in the field, but also a time to have fun with friends and family!

The deadline for abstract submission is Oct. 1, 2019. Please send your abstract to emngeneral@gmail.com. The abstract template is available here: Abstract template.

  • Please directly submit your abstract as an email attachment to the email emngeneral@gmail.com.
  • Please underline the name of the presenting author.
  • Please limit abstracts to a single page.
  • Select Invited, Oral or Poster presentation preferred as prompted in the template.
  • Indicate preferred workshop where prompted from the options in the list of workshops.
  • Abstracts with figures are encouraged.
  • Abstracts may be submitted ONLY as Microsoft Word files. Please name your file according to the following convention prior to submission: FirstName_LastName_Abstract.doc (e.g. John_Smith_Abstract.doc).

Author preferences will be taken into account, however the final decision on presentation format and session will be made by the Committee and indicated in the acceptance email.

  • The registration fees are refundable less a ten percent (10%) processing charge if notice of cancellation is received 30 days before the meeting;
  • The registration fees are refundable less a twenty percent (20%) processing charge if notice of cancellation is received 15 days before the meeting;
  • Registration fees cannot be refunded if notice of cancellation is received within 15 days before the meeting;
  • On-site registration payments are acceptable in Cash Only.

Attention: All lunch, Dinner, social events tickets are non-transferable and non-transferable and non-changeable. There are separated charges for each activity if you bring any additional member.
