EMN Meeting on QCQI, Final Program

Welcome to EMN Meeting on Quantum Communication and Quantum Imaging-2016!

The EMN Meetings grew out of a small workshop series that began in 2008 at a traditional villa in Orlando, Florida. Over the next three years, six additional successful workshops were organized on various focus topics in materials science, and grouped under the title of “Villa Conference” in honor of the original 2008 Orlando meeting. The Villa Conference series has grown rapidly beyond the traditional villa setting, continuing to attract highly-quality contributions from members of the international scientific and engineering communities.  In 2012 the first Conference with a broader theme of Energy, Materials and Nanotechnology was held. The EMN Meetings now include five annual gatherings: EMN Fall (Orlando), EMN Spring (Las Vegas), EMN Summer (Cancun), EMN East (Beijing), and EMN Open (Chengdu).

The EMN Meeting on Quantum Communication and Quantum Imaging-2016 will bring an opportunity for leading academic scientists, researchers and decision makers in the field of Quantum Information to get their latest discoveries acknowledged on the global arena. The EMN Meeting on Quantum Communication and Quantum Imaging, that will continue for four days and will take you to the voyage of knowledge providing you an opportunity to both collaborations and learn about  the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns, practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted in this broad field of Quantum Communication and Quantum Imaging Technology from all over the world. The conference aims to shed light on the transnational nature of Quantum Communication and Quantum Imaging research, with emphasis on both the basic science as well as its applications in industry and academia.  Major scientific advancement in Quantum Communication and Quantum Imaging Technology helped in solving many of the complicated issues in Quantum Communication using Entanglement, Atmospheric Quantum Communication and Satellite Technologies, Quantum Computing with Photons, Fiber Optics Communications and Cryptography, Quantum Networks, Quantum Ghost Imaging, Ghost Imaging, Nonlocal Quantum Imaging Physics and Quantum Relativity, GPS, and Metrology.

The meeting will be a few days of intense collaboration with great social occasions. It will be not only be a time to enjoy the company of fellow researchers in the field, but also a time to have fun with friends and family. Berlin is the capital of Germany and one of the 16 states of Germany. Berlin is the second most populous city proper and the seventh most populous urban area in the European Union. Modern Berlin is home to world renowned universities, orchestras, museums, entertainment venues and is host to many sporting events. Its urban setting has made it a sought-after location for international film productions. The city is well known for its festivals, diverse architecture, nightlife, contemporary arts and a high quality of living. Due to its location in the European Plain, Berlin is influenced by a temperate seasonal climate. Around one-third of the city’s area is composed of forests, parks, gardens, rivers and lakes. Over the last few decade Berlin has seen the emergence of a cosmopolitan entrepreneurial scene.

Looking forward and welcome all of you with my great pleasure and honor to the EMN Meeting on Quantum Communication and Quantum Imaging-2016, Berlin, Germany.
